Аннотация: The Gibbs criterion in the hadron-quark phase transition is analyzed. It is shown that, in thermodynamic equilibrium, the electrostatic potential undergoes a jump at the interface of the quark and hadron phases, provided that each of these phases satisfies the requirement of electric neutrality. The microstructure of the boundary layer between the two phases is considered, and conditions used to determine chemical potentials at the point of the phase transition are formulated with allowance for the jump in the electrostatic potential.
